Mission

We are a diverse and relational committee that creates and promotes Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Throughout the year we celebrate and elevate Indigenous People through educational events that are available to the entire community.

Values

Our values are truth, kindness, community collaboration, social & environmental justice, respect, equity, education, and the empowerment of Indigenous People.

Goals

• Cultivate the establishment of Indigenous Peoples’ Day and the elimination of CD in surrounding towns and counties.

• Create a template to empower others to do the same.

• Organize an entertaining, educational, and inclusive Indigenous Peoples’ Day each year.

• Develop educational events throughout the year to inform and raise awareness of Indigenous knowledge, contributions, and issues.
